1. What is your specialty?
I am an AANP board certified Nurse Practitioner. In my role, I provide follow-up care for patients with breast problems, diseases, and cancer, ensuring ongoing support and monitoring. Additionally, I educate patients on the importance of early detection methods and empower them to take charge of their breast health.

2. Why did you want to become a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)?
My decision to become a CRNP was driven by a combination of a passion for patient care, a commitment to ongoing learning, and a desire to play a more active and independent role in the healthcare field.

3. What is one aspect of the job that you find rewarding?
I enjoy providing empathetic counseling and support to patients, while addressing their emotional needs and concerns. I also find it rewarding assisting patients in making informed decisions about their care, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments.

4. In your opinion, what’s the future of your field?
I see specialists bringing a more personalized approach to breast care, with an increased emphasis on preventive care and wellness initiatives in breast health.

5. What do you do to achieve work/life balance?
I love spending time with my family, friends, and two pups. I am a homebody, but when given the chance I am always on board for a road trip that surely will create lasting memories. Life’s too short not to savor the sweetness of each moment!
