Annual Fundraising Events

Throughout the year, the Windber Health Care Foundation coordinates several fundraising events to benefit hospital programs.

The event features:

  • Buffet-style lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
  • Buffet-style dinner at 5:30 p.m.
  • 8 a.m. & 1 p.m. – Shot-gun start (Scramble format)
  • Registration gift for each participant
  • Refreshments and snacks provided on course
  • Brand exposure with local community leaders

1.5 Walk Start – 9:05 a.m.

5K and 1.5 Mile Run Entry Fee:
Adult (before 10/7) – $25
Adult (after 10/7) – $30
Youth 17 and under – $15

At Showcase Chefs, more than 200 attendees gather to taste samples of local food vendors’ best dishes! Our diners then ‘tip’ their favorite vendors and the top three earn bragging rights as our 2024 Showcase Chefs!
