The Church of the Brethren Home contibutes to JMBCC

Many residents and staff members at the Church of the Brethren Home in Windber are cancer survivors or have friends and relatives who have battled the disease. This year, the Home’s ice cream parlor sold pink yogurt, pink jelly beans and chocolate bars to raise money for the cause. They also contributed funds from selling pink awareness bracelets and profits from a staff luncheon and bake sale. The Church of the Brethren Home in Windber raised $698 for the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center through these initiatives.
