1. What is your specialty?
I am a ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I currently work in Palliative Care.

2. Why did you want to become a nurse practitioner?
My inspiration was and continues to be my mother, who is also a provider. Growing up and watching her inspired and motivated me to pursue my education in nursing, aspiring to become a nurse practitioner at a young age.

3. What is one aspect of the job that you find rewarding?
Being able to connect with patients and their families, along with standing beside them in their times of need.

4. In your opinion, what is the future of your field?
The future for Community Based Palliative Care is to continue to grow and help manage chronic diseases within the home setting in order to prevent recurrent hospitalizations. We are also, initiating a Cardiac Support Program, which I can see being very successful with positive patient outcomes.

5. What do you do to achieve work/life balance?
I have a very supportive team both, at work and home. In my spare time, I love to be with my family, fiancé, and dogs!
