1. What is your specialty?
I am board certified in Internal Medicine. I treat most adult medical conditions. I also have a strong interest in Geriatric Medicine and I am the Medical Director for a large skilled nursing facility.

2. Why did you want to become a physician?
I have always had a strong interest in the science field. I have also had multiple family members who are involved in the medical profession which helped to influence my decision.

3. What is one aspect of the job that you find rewarding?
I find getting to know the patients and their families for extended periods allows me to have a better understanding of their medical condition and family dynamics.

4. In your opinion, what’s the future of your field?
I feel Primary Care is a very integral part of medicine and that there will be an increasingly greater need and use of ancillary staff, including CRNPs and PAs.

5. What do you do to achieve work/life balance?
I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing and fishing with friends, going to shows at the local theater and spending some time over the summer months outside.

Selection of a health care provider is a personal choice. This includes but is not limited to radiologists, pathologists, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, hospitalists, surgeons and others. Independent contractors are responsible for their own actions and the Hospital is not liable for the acts or omissions of any such independent contractors.
