Light Up a Life Night, Windber Hospice’s annual night of remembrance program, was held virtually this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. The theme was “Making Memories Shine this Season,” with the goal to celebrate the 315 lives of lost loved ones and provide comfort during the holiday season.
Families were sent luminary bags that could be decorated in memory of their loved ones who passed this year (11/1/19 – 10/31/20). For those who did not have a bag mailed back, staff and staff’s children decorated bags to honor them.
