Deba Sarma, M.D., a board certified colorectal surgeon, will present a free educational program about colon cancer awareness and prevention on March 20 at 6 p.m. at WindberPlace on the campus of Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber.
Dr. Sarma will discuss the causes, symptoms and treatment of colon cancer. Blood pressure and body mass index screenings; healthy refreshments; and giveaways will be available at the event.
