The 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser, In Loving Memory of Tina Pavlick, was held on October 11 at the Windber Slovak Educational Club. Pat Russell, Vice President of the Windber Slovak Educational Club; Amanda Pavlick, Tina’s daughter; and Melissa Spinelli also organized several other events throughout the month, such as a pool tournament, golf outing, basket party and pink hair extension fundraiser. Funds from the Slovak Education Club’s Small Games of Chance were also contributed. All funds raised from these events were matched by the Windber Slovak Education Club, raising a total of $12,000 for the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center.
