CSSMCW Welcomes New Primary Care Physician and Geriatrician, Dr. Lakshmi Madduru

Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber (CSSMCW) is pleased to welcome Lakshmi Madduru, MD, who will see patients at WindberCare Physicians beginning in July, with extended evening hours. She joins Lawrence Beatty, MD; David Bencie, MD; Ralph Aiken, CRNP; and Michelle Corle, CRNP. Dr. Madduru comes to the hospital with 11 years of experience, and specializes in family medicine and geriatrics.

“Providing quality exceptional care in a family like setting is my goal. I look forward to serving the community of Windber and assisting them with their medical needs. It is a privilege to be part of Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber providing excellent services in a facility with ongoing research and innovative technologies. I aspire to help assist patients achieve their health goals,” said Dr. Madduru.

Dr. Madduru received her medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in Vijayawada, India and completed a family medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – McKeesport. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Before joining the WindberCare Physicians team, Dr. Madduru most recently served as a primary care physician and Medical Director in West Virginia and has worked in urgent care and primary care settings and as a geriatrician at locations in Western Pennsylvania.
