Human Resources & Wellness Representative

This position is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the Human Resources department & provides a high level of service to all customers including but not limited to employees, managers & applicants. Performs tasks (including administrative) related to HR functions including but not limited to data tracking, benefits administration, performance appraisal management, new hire & student orientation, employee relations & unemployment compensation. This position is also responsible for the direction & oversight of the wellness program. In addition, this position provides administrative support to the VP of HR. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required. Two years experience in HR or related field required. Must be knowledgeable in state & federal employment law. Certification as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Experience with People Trak software preferred. Good interpersonal skills & flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills.
