This position requires the performance of a variety of duties to provide nursing care effectively and efficiently for individuals in various life stages. Comply with internal policies and procedures and applicable external regulatory requirements. Coordinate work within the department as well as with other departments. Minimum Diploma of Nursing required. Current PA RN License required. CPR, ACLS, PALS Certifications and IV Therapy and Dysrhythmia Course preferred at time of hire, required within 6 months of hire date or enrolled in next available course. Director - Surgical Services

The Director of Surgical Services works collaboratively with other nurse leaders in the development of patient care policies and procedures to meet all requirements. The Director will establish a cohesive and collaborative nursing team through active leadership. This position is also responsible for orientation of exercise equipment, proper implementation of exercise prescription and counseling of clients on risk factor modification and the physiological assessment of members. This position is responsible for ensuring high quality radiographic and mammography imaging services while maintaining efficient quality control and performance improvement programs as well as compliance with government regulations. Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a radiologic technologist program required. Current, valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration required. Current, valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Registered Mammographer (ARRT R M) preferred. CPR certification preferred at time of hire, required within 6 months of hire date. Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
