Johnstown Firefighters Union Local 463 held a Pink Breast Cancer T-Shirt Sale in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. The sale raised over $6,000 to support patient services for the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. Johnstown Fire Captain Jim McCann was thrilled with the amount of support the sale received their first year and are looking forward to holding the sale again next year. The donation was presented to Patty Felton, Director of the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center and Kim Oleksa, Director of Foundations, Marketing and PR at Windber Medical Center by Johnstown Firefighters Cap. Jim McCann, Eric Miller and Anthony Kovacic.
