Join us for a FREE & INTERACTIVE Program with Sleep Specialist Dr. Gaurav Patel

  • Sleep apnea is a condition that makes you stop breathing for short periods while you sleep. Learn about two types of sleep apnea: obstructive and central.
  • Learn about the causes, signs, symptoms and treatment of the more common obstructive sleep apnea and its cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular consequences.
  • Learn about the dangers of sleep apnea, such as an increased risk for car accidents, other types of accidents, high blood pressure, heart attacks, and other heart rhythm problems.

The program will be presented by Gaurav Patel, MD, a Sleep Specialist who is board certified in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.

Lung and respiratory services available at CSSMCW include: in-hospital and at-home sleep studies, pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, overnight pulse oximetry, smoking cessation, pulmonary stress testing, arterial blood gas testing, EKGs, and EEGs.
