Arbutus Park Manor raised $1,000 for the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center by selling pink gobs and breast cancer awareness t-shirts at their facility. Mrs. Joyce Murtha likes to participate in the month’s activities, as both of the facilities benefit from participating in the efforts made to support the cause.
Their generous support helps fund Pink Ribbon Care, a program that provides assistance for patients who are unable to pay for breast-related health services – including mammograms, follow-up diagnostic services, and genetic counseling.
Arbutus Park Manor began raising funds to support breast cancer awareness in 2014. Since then, they have raised a total of $3,110 for the JMBCC.
