David A. Csikos, MD, FACP was recently chosen by the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s (PAMED) Board of Trustees to fill a vacant seat. He is an internal medicine specialist from Windber who will serve until October 2018 as PAMED’s 11th District Trustee.

Associates in Family Eyecare Donates $1,500 to JMBCC

Arbutus Park Manor Donates $1,000 to JMBCC

Arbutus Park Manor raised $1,000 for the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center by selling pink gobs and breast cancer awareness t-shirts at their facility. Mrs. Joyce Murtha likes to participate in the month’s activities, as both of the facilities benefit from participating in the efforts made to support the cause.

Lambcakes Presents $450 to JMBCC

On November 17, Chad Lamb, owner of Lambcakes bakery, presented a $450 check to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center (JMBCC). The bakery teamed up with the JMBCC to create and sell cupcakes that were part of a month-long campaign to promote mammograms.

Forest Hills Football Team Presents $2,000 to JMBCC

On November 17, senior players representing the Forest Hills football team presented a $2,000 check to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center. To raise funds, the team hosted a teacher and staff dress down day and the football boosters sold t-shirts at the annual Pink Out game on behalf of the team.
