Dr. Dianna Craig, MD, FACS
Dianna Craig, MD, FACS, board-certified surgeon specializing in breast diseases, is the primary clinical provider at the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center. Her office is located
within the imaging suite of the center allowing for her patients to have their mammography and ultrasound studies performed the same day as their appointment. She performs the minimally invasive ultrasound guided biopsies, stereotactic biopsies using the
Mammotome™ device and MRI-guided biopsies on site at the breast center. Dr. Craig
also performs sentinel lymph node procedures with lumpectomies and mastectomies in
the operating room at Windber Medical Center. She is skilled in MammoSite® catheter insertion utilized in brachytherapy treatment for breast cancer.
Dr. Craig was the recipient of the Spirit of Planetree Physician Champion Award in 2008
for demonstrating the Planetree model of patient-centered care and for serving as a role model for other medical staff members. Her specialization in breast disease combined
with the top-notch resources and dedicated staff at the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center ensures that patients get personalized care specific to their particular circumstances. |
