WMC will go SMOKE-FREE & TOBACCO-FREE on October 1, 2014

In our commitment to maintain an environment that supports health and wellness while minimizing health risks, Windber Medical Center and Windber Research Institute are implementing a smoke- free and tobacco-free policy. This policy will eliminate the use of all tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) both inside and outside of buildings on our main campuses, as well as all satellite sites and locations. A smoke-free and tobacco-free campus will help to provide a healthier environment for staff, patients and visitors and will help enforce our commitment to support the health of our patients, staff, and the community.

Tobacco products will not be permitted anywhere on campus or at any of our off-site locations including all buildings, grounds, sidewalks, and parking lots.

We thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a healthy environment for all!
