How to Give

Donate and make a difference!

Giving to the Windber Medical Center has never been easier.  There are several ways to make a contribution.

On our web site: Simply click on the "Donate Online" button, and you will be automatically directed to a page for gift-giving; or click here to donate online.

By telephone: The Windber Healthcare Foundation office is open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm  Call (814) 467-3705 to make a gift with a credit card.
 

By mail: The Windber Healthcare Foundation and Windber Palliative Care Foundation welcome gifts paid by check and sent through the mail. Please make checks payable to either the Windber Healthcare Foundation or Windber Hospice and mail them to:

* If your own name is not printed on the check, please write it on the check so that we may send you the appropriate thank you letter that you can also use for tax purposes.
 

If you are making a memorial or "in honor" contribution, please:

1. Tell us the name of the person you are memorializing or honoring

2. Give us the name and address of the person you would like to receive an acknowledgment letter.

By fax:  You can fax a completed Donation Fax-in Form to Windber Healthcare Foundation (814) 467-3967

Through a personal meeting:  The professionals at Windber Healthcare Foundation would be happy to meet with you to discuss your philanthropic goals.  Simply call (814) 467-3705 during regular business hours, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Bequests in your Behalf:

A charitable bequest in your will is an easy way for you to make a meaningful gift to WMC. There is no cost to you during your lifetime and you have the flexibility to modify the provisions in your will anytime.  Additionally, a bequest is fully deductible for federal estate tax purposes and is also often exempt from state inheritance taxes.  If you already have a will, your attorney can prepare a simple codicil which adds a bequest to Windber Medical Center and reaffirms the provisions of your existing will.
